Frequently Asked Questions
When do
my benefits start?
Your benefits will begin the first of the month following 30 days of employment. For
example, if you were hired on September 15, 2010, your benefits would
begin on November 1, 2010.
Do you have
a match on the 401K?
You are eligible to participate in the 401K on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. A 401K match is offered the first of the quarter following one
full year of employment. You must be an employee on December 31st of
the year to receive the match. The contribution amount is 50% up to
6% of your annual salary. For example, if you contribute 6% of your
annual salary, then your match from TeamHealth would be 3%. If the discretionary
match is made, TeamHealth will contribute the company match the following
February. For example, if you were hired on September 15, 2009, you
would be eligible for match accrual October 1, 2010. The match for one
quarter would be deposited into your 401K account on February of 2011.

When do I start
accruing PTO?
The PTO plans established differ from facility to facility. Please
contact your Employment Specialist or Physician Recruiter to discuss
the specific details of your PTO plan.
How
do I know how much PTO I have available?
Please look at the bottom of your paycheck stub to reference the amount
of PTO you have available to use. If you have additional questions,
please contact your Employment Specialist or Physician Recruiter.
Can I enroll
for direct deposit?
Yes. A direct deposit form will be enclosed in your New Hire Packet.
