George Tracy, President
George Tracy has been the President of Spectrum Healthcare Resources since January 2009 and served as the Executive Vice President of the company since September 2001. He joined Spectrum in 1985 as a Physician Recruiter, and in 1988 he was a member of the team responsible for developing Spectrum’s Government Business.
Mr. Tracy led the development of the group dedicated to serving the Federal Sector in the areas of operations management and new business development. He has been involved in and had responsibility for developing healthcare professional staffing support contracts for over 1,500 separate projects that have provided more than 26,000 people in the military and Veterans Affairs health systems.
Mr. Tracy earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Whitman School of Management of Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York.
James Boehlke, MD, Chief Medical Officer
James is a Board-Certified Pediatrician with 20+ years of military healthcare experience. He brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the company as chief medical officer for Spectrum Healthcare Resources. Dr. Boehlke works closely with clients to ensure healthy business relationships and also takes the lead for all aspects of the group’s business, including: quality healthcare services delivery by the entire team clinical leadership physician relations.
Since joining Spectrum in 1990 from Georgetown University Hospital, Dr. Boehlke has held the positions of site medical director, pediatric medical director, regional medical director, leading to his current leadership role as chief medical officer. He also continues to practice as a military treatment facility contract physician and serves as a primary care manager at the United States Air Force Academy Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Dr. Boehlke received his bachelor’s degree in Biology/Chemistry from Oral Robert University in Tulsa Oklahoma and is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Adolescent Medicine, both at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.
John Hyzy, Senior Vice President, Program Management
Mr. Hyzy is the Senior Vice President for Program Management with Spectrum Healthcare Resources. He is also a retired Air Force Healthcare Administrator with 25 years of experience in military healthcare and three years of government medical consulting experience. Mr. Hyzy has proven practice management/leadership experience in rural clinic, community hospital and regional medical center facility settings.
Mr. Hyzy specializes in executive-level problem resolution, innovation and enterprise-level program management and draws on his experiences from his time on the staff for the Office of the Air Force Surgeon General. In 2012, Mr. Hyzy joined Spectrum Healthcare Resources as Vice President of Clinic Services and was promoted to his current role as Senior Vice President for Program Management in 2016. In his current role, he is responsible for the Program Management of Spectrum’s Health Centers (supporting Government client medical facilities) and other Government Program business.
Mr. Hyzy earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the College of Santa Fe in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Master of Business Administration from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.
Sheila Bodenschatz, Vice President, National Markets
Ms. Bodenschatz is the Vice President of National Markets for Spectrum Healthcare Resources. She has an impressive long-term history of leadership and sales experience within the healthcare field including 20 years within the Federal Healthcare marketplace. She has a proven record of achievement in new business development, capture strategies, operations management, customer relations, and contract negotiations.
Ms. Bodenschatz graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She resides with her family in St. Louis, MO.
Patti Franczak, Vice President of Human Resources & Recruitment
Ms. Franczak is the Vice President of Human Resources and Recruitment for Spectrum Healthcare Resources. Ms. Franczak joined Spectrum in1989. Her early years included a variety of positions within the Employee Recruiting and Operational Management departments.
In 2001, Ms. Franczak was promoted to an Operations Manager responsible for providing direction and support to the Operations Team. In 2006, Ms. Franczak was promoted to Director of Human Resources, responsible for the management of all human resources functions and strategies and for creating a culture of high performance by developing long-term recruiting approach and providing leadership in training and development. Today, Ms. Franczak is responsible for executive level management of human resources, credentials and field staff recruitment to include developing policy procedures, training, recruiting capabilities, and ensuring a high level of customer service.
Ms. Franczak earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Dee Sage, Vice President, Operations Finance
Dee Sage was named Vice President, Operations Finance for Spectrum in 2018. Ms. Sage is responsible for leading the fiscal functions of the organization. This position provides insight, forecasts and analysis as well as ensures compliance with laws and standards in all financial areas.
Throughout her career with Spectrum, she has gained valuable experience and knowledge through managing various projects. Since joining Spectrum in 2002, Ms. Sage has held the positions of Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, Director of Operations and Accounting, Vice President & Controller and her current position as Vice President, Operations Finance.
Ms. Sage obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Dan Faucett, CPA, MHA, Director of Contracting, Facility Security Officer
Dan Faucett is currently the Director of Contracting and acts as the Facility Security Officer. Mr. Faucett began working for Spectrum in 1982 as a Reimbursement Specialist and later took on the role of Controller.
In his current role, he is responsible for overseeing the development of more than 800 proposals each year as well as supervising SCA, HIPAA, FAR, CAS and GSA schedule compliance. He is heavily involved in our business development and has significant experience with small business relationships and related regulations.
Mr. Faucett attended Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville, Missouri for his undergraduate education, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He then earned his Master of Health Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Wayne Hosack, RN, Director of Nursing
Mr. Hosack is the Director of Nursing for Spectrum Healthcare Resources. In addition to being a Registered Nurse, Mr. Hosack is a retired Air Force Colonel with 25 years of service. Since retiring from the Air Force and prior to joining Spectrum in 2007, he worked as a USAA executive, a staff Registered Nurse with Baptist Health Systems and an Registered Nurse Admission/Case Manager with Samaritan Care Hospice.
Since joining Spectrum, Mr. Hosack has served as a Utilization Manager at the Randolph Air Force Base Clinic and as National Program Manager for the nationwide Air Force medical management contract through which he managed 126 Registered Nurses in 56 Air Force Military Treatment Facilities.
Mr. Hosack attended San Antonio College in San Antonio, Texas, where he received his Associate of Applied Sciences in Nursing. He then studied at Texas State University, in San Marcos, Texas, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Education (Composition Social Sciences). For his graduate education, Mr. Hosack studied at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, where he earned his Master of Arts in Human Relations, and at Embry Riddle University in Daytona Beach, Florida, where he received his Masters of Business Administration.
