Wayne Hosack Retirement After 15 Years with Spectrum Healthcare Resources

Today, we recognize Mr. Wayne Hosack for 15 years of excellent service as Spectrum Healthcare Resources’ Director of Nursing.

Mr. Hosack attended San Antonio College in San Antonio, Texas, where he received his Associate of Applied Sciences in Nursing. He then studied at Texas State University, in San Marcos, Texas, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Education (Composition Social Sciences).

For his graduate education, Mr. Hosack studied at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, where he earned his Master of Arts in Human Relations, and at Embry Riddle University in Daytona Beach, Florida, where he received his Masters of Business Administration.

In addition to being a Registered Nurse, Mr. Hosack is a retired Air Force Colonel with 25 years of service. Since retiring from the Air Force and prior to joining Spectrum in 2007, he worked as a USAA executive, a staff Registered Nurse with Baptist Health Systems, and a Registered Nurse Admission/Case Manager with Samaritan Care Hospice.

Since joining Spectrum, Mr. Hosack has served as a Utilization Manager at the Randolph Air Force Base Clinic and as a National Program Manager for the nationwide Air Force medical management contract through which he managed 126 Registered Nurses in 56 Air Force Military Treatment Facilities.

‘Thank You’ to Mr. Hosack for his loyal and dedicated service to Spectrum and the United States. Mr. Hosack was a great attribute to the Spectrum Healthcare Team and he will be greatly missed!
